This program will provide you with a primer on mental health and provide an understanding of how to help yourself and others in times of stress. Using tools to encourage interactive discussion while respecting each individual's confidentiality.

- How stress exacerbates common mental health challenges
- Positive psychology and how mindset can improve wellbeing

More about the Facilitator
David Grad, Senior HR Consultant, People First HR Services
David is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources with extensive experience developing and facilitating training, including leading supervisory and managerial training programs. His background also includes training and experience in coaching individuals and groups, providing mental health support, administering 360 assessments, and developing employee recognition programming.
As an experienced senior human resource consultant, David has a passion for developing effective HR solutions. David is an engaging facilitator and consultant, utilizing his background in HR, education, and counselling to create stand-out learning experiences for clients.
Before joining People first HR Services, David was a facilitator and programs coordinator at the University of Manitoba. Here he developed and implemented new learning initiatives to meet strategic goals set by the University. David leverages this experience as an asset in designing HR strategy development and training programs.
Holding an M.Ed in Counselling Psychology and CPHR designation, David specializes in the areas of mental health, communication, conflict resolution, and team leadership. He also holds a B.Ed, H.BA in History, and a B.A. in Sociology, and is a published author.
