Code of Ethics and Rules of Professional Conduct (The Code):
All members of CPHR Manitoba must abide by our Code of Ethics and Rules of Professional Conduct. Please review these policies prior to joining.

The Code of Ethics and Rules of Professional Conduct identifies and outlines the standards of behaviour to fairness, justice, truthfulness, and social responsibility for all CPHR Manitoba members. As part of the registration/renewal process, you will be asked to declare that you commit to adhere to The Code.

New Members: When signing up as a new member, you will be asked to complete a Good Character Attestation (GCA). The purpose of having a good character requirement is to protect the public interest, promote and maintain the high ethical standards of the profession, and maintain public confidence and safeguard the reputation of the profession. Any information received from members related to the GCA will be safeguarded and not distributed in any way.

CPHR Manitoba will use nine questions to verify the good character of new applicants. If you answer 'yes' to any of the questions, CPHR Manitoba will follow up by email asking for additional information before you can be approved for membership. For more information about the GCA, click here.
