THIS IS A RECORDING OF A LIVE WEBINAR THAT TOOK PLACE ON MAY 28, 2020
The legal landscape relating to workplace safety and health (“WS&H”) law is constantly evolving and changing. Inspection and enforcement activities are increasing and are serious matters for your organization. Do you know your rights if a serious incident occurs and WS&H investigators are asking to interview you and/or your employees? Does your organization have the requisite policies, procedures and committees in place so that it may advance a “due diligence” defence in the event that charges are laid by WS&H? That trusted piece of equipment you have used for many years may be a (hidden) liability to you and your organization. Finally, are you aware of recent developments in WS&H sentencing laws?
