About the Program
This program is designed for full-time HR students currently enrolled in one of CPHR Manitoba’s accredited post-secondary HR programs. We are looking for students to be a representative and advocate for CPHR Manitoba within their post-secondary program and institution. Ambassadors will work to build relationships with peers and faculty while promoting CPHR Manitoba and the CPHR designation. This is a volunteer position for the 2025-2026 post-secondary school year that will require approximately 5 hours of commitment each month.

To be eligible for the Campus Ambassador position, you must be a full-time student in one of the programs specified and a student member of CPHR Manitoba.

Expectations of CPHR Manitoba Student Ambassadors
- Connect with student clubs and career centres to share information about CPHR Manitoba and the CPHR designation
- Hold small info sessions and/or focus groups with peers
- Plan student social events for CPHR Manitoba
- Promote CPHR Manitoba and the CPHR designation by sharing social media posts
- Communicate benefits of student membership to peers
Requirements
The ideal candidates must:
- Be a full-time student enrolled in one of the above programs and a student member with CPHR Manitoba
- Have strong communication skills and experience with public speaking
- Have strong relationship building skills
- Be passionate about HR and interested in pursuing the CPHR designation
- Possess strong organizational skills
- Have the ability to prioritize and manage expectations
- Demonstrate leadership skills
- Be willing to take initiative
- Be a creative thinker and problem solver
- Demonstrate a professional demeanor when interacting with peers and faculty
- Be comfortable working with various virtual platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
* Familiarity with CPHR Manitoba and the pathways to achieving the CPHR designation will be considered an asset
* Faculty recommendation letter is an asset
