HRMAM Board of Directors
2015 - 2016
This is an exciting time for the Human Resource Management Association of Manitoba!
Context and Background
In Canada, the HR profession is evolving quickly with organizations' growing recognition of HR professionals' expertise to support their strategic direction with meaningful HR programs. The ability to attract, retain and engage talented employees is becoming a competitive advantage that Canadian companies are pursuing aggressively. New CHRP competencies are being developed to promote strategic HR practices and provincial HR associations are trending towards self-regulation.
The Challenge
Manitoba was a leader in the establishment of the CHRP designation. It is time for Manitoba to lead again in advancing the human resource management profession and its ability to influence business strategy. We are excited about our strategy to promote our Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation, position the association and our members as thought leaders, grow our membership, and start on the path to self-regulation.
