CPHR Manitoba's HR Conference 2019: Business + People took place on October 29 & 30, 2019, at the RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg. Over 300 delegates attended an assortment of breakout sessions and keynote speakers that were focused on industry trends and HR’s evolving position in the workplace.

The HR Conference was opened by the newly appointed Minister of Central Services,The Honourable Reg Helwer, who spoke about the importance and impact of HR in Manitoba’s workplaces. Board Chair, Janice Harper, welcomed delegates and spoke about the progress CPHR Manitoba has made on the current strategic plan.  Ron Gauthier, CEO of CPHR Manitoba, spoke about the evolution of the profession over the last 5 years.
