In light of recent developments in the spread of COVID-19 and the WHO’s proclamation of the virus as a pandemic, CPHR Manitoba believes it is incumbent upon us to carefully assess all risks and to do our part to flatten the curve and reduce the spread of COVID-19. With this decision, we are implementing recommended best practices in protecting our members and the larger community.
Events scheduled to the end of our fiscal year (May 31, 2020) have been postponed. We will continue to monitor this situation very closely and re-evaluate future events plans based on prevailing conditions and expert advice. For those registered for postponed events, we are working to secure alternate dates and venues for the events and will notify all registrants as this information becomes available.
We published a fact sheet on our website on Wednesday and will continue to update it as needed. The fact sheet can be found here.
Thank you for your understanding.
