The HR Excellence Awards gives us an opportunity to showcase the great work of HR professionals and share emerging best practices in Human Resources. 

The HR Excellence Awards include two types of awards - Business Excellence Awards and Professional Excellence Awards. The Business Excellence Awards include four categories which align with the key professional practices of Human Resource Professionals while the five Professional Excellence Awards are designed to recognize specific individuals for their unique contributions.

CPHR Manitoba encourages organizations and individuals to nominate themselves or others for an Excellence Award by submitting an application to the CPHR Manitoba office. When submitting your initiative consider how the project was innovative, creative and collaborative and the overall impact to the organization. Ensure your submission clearly aligns to a specific award. We recognize that several awards could potentially have implications in another award category; however, for the purpose of evaluation, your submission must directly relate to only one award category.

Business Excellence Awards

These awards recognize large and small Manitoba businesses that have harnessed the power of HR to advance their business goals. Organizations that have successfully demonstrated leadership in Human Resource programs or services by creating, developing, and implementing related initiatives that have resulted in significant and measurable benefits to their organization are eligible. Organizations can be nominated in the following categories in either the small/medium business category (<250 employees) or the large business category (>250 employees):

• Employee Development, Relations and Total Rewards Award
• Health, Wellness and Safe Workplace Award
• Organizational Strategy and Engagement Award
• Workforce Planning and Talent Management Award
  

Professional Excellence Awards

These awards recognize individuals who apply their expertise to the objectives of their organization and the people they support. 

• CPHR Manitoba Scholarship Awards
• Rising Star Award
• HR Professional of the Year Award
• HR Executive of the Year Award 
• HR Patron of the Year Award

FCPHR

The Fellow CPHR award is a prestigious honourary award that recognizes members who have made exemplary contributions to the profession. The FCHRP recognizes leadership, outstanding achievement and exceptional contribution to the profession.

 
Applications for the Fellow CPHR are accepted on a continuing basis. Successful recipients whose application has been received prior to December 14, 2018 will be recognized at the 2019 HR Excellence Awards.
