CPHR Canada requires that persons holding the CPHR or CPHR Candidate designation must maintain membership in the association responsible for CPHR certification in their province of residence. When a CPHR Manitoba member holding the CPHR or CPHR Candidate designation moves to another province, they are required to transfer their designation to the association responsible for CPHR certification in their new province of residence. An official transfer form must be submitted to CPHR Manitoba prior to the change in residence. CPHR Manitoba will forward the transfer form to the new association, and the new association will complete the CPHR designee’s enrolment as a professional member in their province. A transfer fee is also payable to CPHR Manitoba. Member dues: Your provincial HR association membership dues are non transferable.
Please note that any lapse in membership longer than 60 days between the expiry of a former provincial membership and granting of membership in CPHR Manitoba may result in the revocation of the transferee’s designation. Exceptions:
Transfer out to another province: a transfer fee of $25.00 (plus GST) is payable to CPHR Manitoba. Click here to complete the transfer fee. Transfer to Another Province Form
Transfer in to CPHR Manitoba: a transfer fee of $50 (plus GST) is payable to CPHR Manitoba.
Transfers to Ontario For CPHRs and CPHR Candidates transferring to Ontario, transferability is assessed on a case-by-case analysis. Please contact the HRPA Office of the Registrar at registrar@hrpa.ca to discuss your individual circumstances. If transferring to Ontario you will be required to complete a CPHR Manitoba transfer and the HRPA Certificate of Standing. |
