Maintaining the Designation

There are three requirements that a CPHR must meet in order to maintain their designation:

  1. Advance and expand your professional knowledge and practice across the competency areas throughout the year by meeting the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements each year.
Please note: CPHR Manitoba, CIPD, CIPM Nigeria and SHRM are separate organizations and do not share information regarding Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours with each other. Members holding the CPHR designation with another designation will need to report their CPD hours to each organization at the interval each organization requires and meet any other criteria as outlined by the organization.
  2. Adhere to CPHR Manitoba's Code of Ethics and Rules of Professional Conduct
  3. Maintain a membership with your provincial association. With CPHR Manitoba, annual renewal is required by May 31st each year. Upon the following year's renewal, you will be subject to the CPHR membership rate.
